Network modernisation makes transformers less susceptible to overload, extending their safe service life.
In the event of a fault, the damaged section is isolated automatically and reserve lines are switched in, minimising impact on consumers.
With FDIR automation in place, network re-configurations take place without dispatcher involvement, improving management efficiency.
Modernising the LV network in the selected part of Łódź’s Retkinia estate posed substantial challenges. Thanks to meticulous planning and tight coordination, all objectives were achieved. The project substantially improved network performance and significantly enhanced transformer protection against adverse incidents.
